Experience the Radiant Landscapes of Lonny Granston at "Light Things Up!" Our Summer 2023 show invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Lonny Granston, a remarkable artist whose work captures the essence of passionate landscapes. Long rumored to be the love child of Vincent Van Gogh and Georgia O'Keeffe, Granston's journey began in Des Moines during the Vietnam War. Now, after years of painting the dreamlike vistas of Boulder, Colorado, his energetic and unconventional art has earned multiple "best of" awards in Utah and Colorado.

Granston's unique style breathes life into his canvases, pulsating with color and emotion. Through his uninhibited use of brushstrokes, he reveals the raw beauty of nature, capturing light and stirring the soul. His artwork speaks to the majestic landscapes he yearned for during his childhood camping trips "out west," transporting viewers to untamed realms beyond the cornfields.

Join us this summer to experience the brilliance of Granston's passionate landscapes. Lose yourself in the evocative paintings that carry the spirit of those magical camping trips and ignite a sense of awe and wonder. "Light Things Up!" is a fusion of medicine and art, where Granston's confident and unconventional approach invites you to explore the luminous world he creates on canvas.
