Simplicity + Colorado Landscapes | Spring 2021

Osmosis is excited to bring in new work by Mike Brouse and Ruth Soller to be featured throughout April, May, and June. Niwot will not be hosting First Friday Art Walks for a while longer, but stop by the gallery Monday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm or Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm.

Simplicity by Mike Brouse

I always loved the idea of simplicity, yet at the same time, I will be one of the first to admit: material things can contribute to our happiness if we enjoy them, if they give us something beyond just owning it. That was my goal with this series of paintings.

Colorado Landscapes by Ruth Soller

Inspired by travel and plein air studies, my magical landscapes express passion through brilliant hues and dramatic contrasts. My vibrant paintings are built up in layers of oil paint on sienna-toned linen or canvas. Once varnished my paintings take on a translucent depth resembling stained glass.

My gift of creative communication occurs as my art is seen and experienced by others. Studying with admired artists honed my skills and intention. Perseverance through challenges focused my style and voice. I discovered that creating art brings healing power to my body, mind, and spirit. My purpose is to create energy and joy through art.
