Every year we get so many great submission for the Why Not Niwot? Juried Art Exhibitions that feature the many unique things about Niwot. This year was no different. Before the pieces are hung at businesses around Niwot, we bring in our judges to do the hard work of selecting the winners. Mary Williams of Mary Williams Fine Arts, Alyson Bell of Tool Studios in Niwot, and Lisa Rivard, Niwot artist, came in again this year.
During July and August the pieces were on display throughout Niwot (see list below), for People's Choice Voting. Once voting is concluded, completed passports are tallied to get our People's Choice Winner.
At the September First Friday we announced the winners:
