Niwot's Enchanted Evening

The day after Thanksgiving (11/29) has its own rhythm in Niwot. The town shakes off the holiday quiet, the lights come on along Second Avenue and Cottonwood Square, and Enchanted Evening marks the real start of the season. It’s one of Niwot’s longest-running traditions, and it brings out families, neighbors, and visitors who want something warmer and more grounded than the usual holiday rush.

Osmosis Gallery will be open from 11 to 9, with the main festivities beginning at 6. The street fills with music and fire pits, shops stay open late, and the whole block feels like a small winter village. Inside the gallery, you’ll find our current exhibition, a fresh mix of new work, and a range of pieces sized for holiday giving.

If you’re spending the weekend in town or stopping by after visiting family, this is a good night to reconnect with the community and see what local artists have been working on. Enchanted Evening is simple, but that’s why it works. It’s a reminder that the season can start with light, people, and a walk down a familiar street.
