Opening First Friday, March 6 | 5–9pm | Osmosis Gallery, Niwot
Spring at Osmosis Gallery begins with color, movement, and emotional lift.
Joyful Journeys features new acrylic paintings by Pamela Cuming, a Colorado-based visual artist known for her expressive brushwork and vibrant palette. Her representational style often leans toward abstraction, creating work that feels grounded in place while still open to interpretation.
“The theme to me captures reflections, feelings and imagery of expansion, beauty, and joy,” Pamela shares. “Joy to me is literally in the journey of creating.”
Her paintings hold that tension between clarity and freedom. Landscapes and florals emerge through layered color and gestural marks, inviting the viewer to slow down and experience a sense of lightness. Pamela describes her intention as offering “a welcome pause in a current chaotic and unsettling world.”
That pause feels especially fitting as we shift seasons here in Niwot. Longer days. More light. A renewed sense of movement.
About the Artist
Pamela Cuming is a self-taught visual artist whose expressive acrylic paintings are filled with emotional resonance and vibrant color. Since 2022, she has been featured in Taos, New Mexico galleries including Alahambra and Magpie, and her work has appeared in Santa Fe’s Table magazine. Her paintings have been exhibited and collected across Colorado’s Front Range and beyond.
In addition to her visual art practice, Pamela works as a playwright, actor, and director. Her next full-length production, The Scarlet Tanager, will be staged at The WildFlower Playhouse in Taos in January 2027. That multidisciplinary creativity carries into her paintings, where storytelling and movement often unfold across the canvas.
