Boulder family physician Lonny Granston plays a doctor in real life and on TV. He also spends a lot of time outdoors biking, hiking and kayaking. And painting.
Over the past year his pastels have won multiple awards in plein art festivals in Moab and Escalante, Utah and he garnered the “Best in Show” award in the most recent Plein Air Boulder.
The September Osmosis show features a variety of pastels drawn outdoors— all done over the past year—at locations both familiar and not-so-much.
