MONUMENTAL PASTEL featuring Lonny Granston

Boulder artist Lonny Granston, MD, has frittered away many a day in the vertical desert that currently comprises Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments.
On occasion, he would put down his beer and pick up a pastel chalk in its stead. The June show at Osmosis Gallery highlights the unique beauty of these two embattled national treasures.
(All artist proceeds from this show will be donated to SUWA (Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance) to help that organization continue its efforts to preserve Utah's red rock wilderness.)
