Ruth Soller

My magical landscapes reveal passion through brilliant hues, transform detail into symbolic motifs, and command power by dramatic contrasts. My work expresses the beauty of nature experienced while plein air painting and hiking in our National Parks. My National Parks series grew to be exhibited in museum and gallery venues and earned awards in International competitions.

My faith revealed that my gift of creative communication results when my art is seen and experienced by the public. Honing my skills by studying with admired artists refined my focus and intention. Perseverance through challenges strengthened my style and my message. I discovered that creating art brings healing power to my body, mind and spirit. My purpose is to share emotions and meditations which bring healing and joy to our lives.

A professional artist for thirty years, I create oil paintings of National Parks and western landscapes for private and corporate collectors. My artworks have been shown in Butler Institute of American Art, CM Russell Museum, Salmagundi Club New York, Denver International Airport, Panhandle Plains Invitational, Western Masters Art Show, Art Steamboat, Old West Museum and US Senator Michael Bennet’s office in Washington, DC.
