Kevan Krasnoff

self portrait.JPG

Kevan Krasnoff was born in North America where the Great Plains rise to meet the Rocky Mountains—a landscape that continues to shape his vision as a painter. Living in the West, he draws inspiration from open spaces, dramatic weather, vast skies, and expansive vistas that continually challenge and stir his creative impulse.

Kevan’s paintings are not literal representations of the landscape, but rather emotional responses to it. His work blends abstraction with just enough structure and form to offer viewers an entry point—a gateway into their own imaginations. Each piece is a synthesis of observation, memory, and lived experience, distilled into the present moment and expressed through paint.

“For me,” he writes, “this exercise is eternal—and by the grace of God and karma, a gift. So I paint. Not exactly what I see, but what I feel.”

Through his work, Kevan invites viewers to engage with the spirit of place—not only as it exists in the world, but as it unfolds within themselves.
