Kathleen LeRoy

Kathleen’s abstract paintings are rooted in what she calls the “We Space,” the subtle, intangible presence that arises between people, places, and shared histories. She works in layered acrylic, building deep color and texture to evoke a sense of depth, resonance, and timelessness. Rich hues applied loosely with a palette knife mirror the fluid, unpredictable nature of connection and the way time moves through our lives.
Her work often explores complex spiritual themes, inviting viewers to sit with the unseen dimensions of their own experience. Now based in Boulder, Colorado, Kathleen’s practice is shaped by her life as a licensed therapist, a mother, an entrepreneur, and a close observer of the mountains and natural world around her. She is active in the local art community, regularly participating in exhibitions and hosting open studio events.
