Joshua Pass

self portrait.JPG

Joshua grew up in the Southwest, where vast open spaces, dramatic plane changes, and Indigenous art have shaped his expression of line, form, and space. To create his sculpture, he draws inspiration from relationships, nature, and Native cultures. Joshua is an experienced machinist, master goldsmith, and accomplished sculptor, with a BFA from Metropolitan State College (now the University) of Denver. Joshua has received various fellowships and honorable mentions and has been working as an artisan since 2006. His work is shown in private collections, sculpture parks, galleries, and public installations in such places as San Juan Island, Washington; Santa Fe; and Boulder, Colorado
