Jennifer Jess

Jennifer Jess invites viewers into a whimsical, expressive world through her ceramic work. Combining wheel-thrown and hand-built clay forms, her pieces reflect a deep, personal connection to the medium—one that began with her first experience working with clay and has continued ever since. Each piece is shaped by her imagination, capturing moments of introspection, playfulness, and creative curiosity.
In 2004, she founded The Muddy Muse as a personal outlet for exploring and sharing her ceramic art. Her work has been exhibited through the Boulder Potters’ Guild and featured at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery in Denver. Over time, Jennifer has expanded her creative practice to include other artistic mediums, all in service of expressing the rich inner narratives that inspire her.
