Janet Rundquist Quinn

Janet Rundquist is a painter deeply inspired by the natural beauty and complexity of the American West. Her work draws from the colors, textures, and quiet contradictions found in nature—elements she translates onto canvas with sensitivity and curiosity. Living in Evergreen, Colorado, at the edge of the Rocky Mountains, she finds daily inspiration in the shifting light, weather, and terrain that surround her.
Janet’s paintings often begin with a single spark: the curve of a tree limb, a crack in granite, or the way sunlight touches a blade of grass. Each piece reflects her emotional response to the landscape—whether it’s awe, serenity, or wonder—and offers viewers a space to experience those sensations for themselves.
She lives with her husband and two children in the foothills of the Rockies, where wildlife, mountains, and sky continually call her outdoors—and back to the canvas.
