Art is a means of expression that emerges in limitless forms. As an artist, I create items that are beautiful while being useful, and fanciful but still functional. Over the years I have worked with metals and beads to create fun jewelry and have taught classes in this realm. Using natural materials, I have woven baskets and taught many classes in this ancient art. I have created beautiful vests, moccasins and shirts adorned with tiny seed beads and porcupine quills and have enjoyed teaching others this skill. These activities were a welcome break from my background as an English teacher and were a wonderful part of raising three artist daughters.

Before you are the basic tools of food preparation and food serving that are decorated to provide visual pleasure while being used...everyday items elevated from their basic form...one definition of art. Enjoy!
