My work explores the relationships between the innate essence of the elements and the organic shapes and underlying energies in the natural world .
Embracing the elemental constituents of the universe; Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind, I approach the world beyond outward human existence to uncover Life’s veiled dimensions.
My intent is to capture the shadow images and emotions of Life and its forms; those fleeting images from the natural world and human experience that lie dormant in the mind, and transform them to an emotive surface on canvas through complex, shifting depths of opaque and translucent forms.
